Venture Associate tyler@mhubventures.com

Tyler Meli is Venture Associate who supports mHUB Ventures across investing, platform development, fundraising, and portfolio company support. He works with founders throughout the investment lifecycle, from sourcing and diligence through fundraising, financial modeling, and strategic initiatives, while also helping build the internal tools and processes that strengthen the firm’s investment platform and AI integrations. Tyler is particularly interested in working alongside early-stage teams as they navigate the financial and strategic challenges of building and scaling hardtech companies.

Before joining early-stage venture capital, Tyler built his career across banking and private markets, developing experience in financial analysis, strategic problem-solving, and working with institutional stakeholders. At Citi, he owned a balance-sheet optimization initiative that generated $8 million in savings and developed models that informed pricing and capital decisions. He later joined Lexington Partners, where he worked closely with institutional investors and led internal automation initiatives. These experiences gave Tyler a strong foundation in financial modeling, fundraising dynamics, and building scalable processes that he now applies to supporting founders and portfolio companies.

Tyler received his MBA with High Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science from Yale University, where he graduated with distinction. Outside of the office, Tyler is a scratch golfer and loves cycling, racket sports, cooking, and reading sci-fi.
