The decisions you make early as a hardware founder can have lasting legal and tax implications. From choosing your business structure and dividing founder equity to paying contractors and managing inventory, getting these decisions right from the start can help prevent costly complications as your company grows. This workshop is a practical workshop designed to help early-stage founders navigate the legal and tax considerations that come with building a hardware business.
Co-presented by Tram Le, CPA, of Le CPA Group and Leslee Cohen of AllRise Legal Counsel, this session brings together legal and tax perspectives to help founders understand how decisions made today can affect their business as they move toward manufacturing, hiring, and fundraising. Attendees will leave with a stronger understanding of how legal and tax decisions intersect and what to consider when establishing a foundation for long-term growth.
